People across Kenya and beyond are asking why Christians should not be killed — in Garissa, in Wajir, in Mandera, in Isiolo, in Mombasa, in Eastleigh Nairobi. This page exists to answer that question directly and to speak to the people who can act on the answer: the military officers, commanding officers, NCOs, militia commanders, lieutenants, sergeants, paramilitary leaders, and servicemen who hold authority in the areas where Christians are in danger in Kenya.
Christians killed in northeastern Kenya are not abstractions. Christians murdered in the Mandera area, Christians murdered at Garissa University Kenya, Christians targeted by al-Shabaab in Kenya — these are real people who left behind real families. Faith killing is forbidden by the Quran. Quran 5:32 says that killing one person is like killing all mankind. The Quran forbids killing innocent souls. Every Bible verse about murder being forbidden — from the ESV and every translation — says the same thing from a different direction. Faith killing forbidden by Quran and Bible alike is not a political argument. It is scripture.
Armed forces Kenya Christian targeting, paramilitary Kenya Christian persecution, NCO northeastern Kenya Christian persecution, lieutenant Kenya faith-based violence, sergeant Kenya militia Christian killing — these phrases describe real patterns that real people with authority are choosing to permit or to stop. Commanding officer Kenya religious freedom is a choice made every day by people in exactly the positions listed below. We are asking you to make the right choice. Read the message for your city.
